Grand Prairie residents can save those kitchen pipes and unload some old electronic devices with a city hall drop-off scheduled for Dec. 3.
Any household product which should not be put in the garbage or washed down the drain is considered household hazardous waste.
Registration is required or call 972-237-8055. No commercial waste will be accepted.
Acceptable items include cooking oil, degreasers, drain cleaners, acids, cleaning supplies and household chemicals.
Electronics recycling events are scheduled year-round, but the next one is Jan. 7, 2023. The event is free to residents but space is limited. Commercial business electronics will not be accepted.
Registration is required or call 972-237-8159. Online registration is available until all time slots are filled. Future dates are available. Proof of residency is required.
Acceptable items include computers, laptops, mobile phones, printers, VCRs, DVD players and televisions with no exposed parts.
